Port-o-Potties!

Port-o-Potties!

Port-o-Potties!

Without a doubt, this was the highlight of the march, Port-O-Potties! Do I like going to anti-war protests? No. I do not like being stuffed in a bus for hours, to stand and march for as many as 10 hours in the freezing cold, wind, and often freezing rain, with no access to a toilet. I cannot drink a thing the entire time, and even then, I may not be able to hold it in long enough to make it back to the bus. Despite the apparently happy atmosphere these photos show, protesting is not easy. I was relieved (in more ways than one!) that A.N.S.W.E.R. provided for our basic needs. The last two protests in NYC, A.N.S.W.E.R. was not allowed to provide port-o-potties by the petty NYC authorities. The pair of port-o-potties on each block allowed me to relax a bit. So, why do I go to protests? Because it is my patriotic DUTY!
