A Proposal By Daniel W. Van Riper Here's an idea. All elected officials in Guilderland should sign the following pledge before the voters and taxpayers of the town:
"(1) I promise not to accept campaign contributions or any other monetary compensation from the Pyramid Corporation or it's subsidieries, and I will return in full any money I have so far received.
(2) I promise to refuse any opportunity offered to me by Pyramid or it's subsidieries to distribute jobs or other means of employment as patronage."
Who will sign it? Who will squirm?
